Jen Krawczyk - Studio Manager
Jen moved to Kansas City from St. Louis after receiving her bachelor’s degree in business administration/finance from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Jen worked for Hallmark Cards, Inc. for 13 years in various positions such as Internal Auditor, Financial Analyst, Analytics Manager, and Demand and Inventory Manager. While working full time Jen continued her education and received a master’s degree in business administration/management from Rockhurst University. In 2014 Jen decided to make a career change after the birth of their third daughter and became a full time stay at home mom. Jen currently lives in Lee’s Summit with her husband and three dancing daughters Janie, Kaylin, and Maddie.
Taylor Schumann - Front Desk
Taylor started dancing at age 3 at Heart of America Dance Centre and was a part of the youth ballet and the competitive dance team until she graduated in 2020. With HAYB, she starred in roles such as the White Rabbit in “Alice in Wonderland” and The Sugar Plum Fairy in “The Nutcracker”. After graduating high school, Taylor attended Kansas State University and graduated with two bachelor’s degrees in psychology and philosophy. Now, Taylor is continuing her education for certification to become a ChildLife Specialist.
Cindy Reid - Design Event Director
Cindy Reid has been a part of HADC since 2009 when her oldest daughter Eastyn joined the studio. Originally from Independence, Cindy graduated with a Graphic/Fine Arts Bachelor’s Degree from Central Missouri State University in 1997. She worked at Burns & McDonnell in their Central Marketing Group focused on marketing and event planning for the corporate office. Once her youngest daughter, Ayden, started HADC in 2014, Cindy has been active with the studio staff focused on seasonal decorations and event planning. Cindy lives in Lee’s Summit with her husband, Jeff, and two daughters Eastyn & Ayden.
